[Bug 1309576] Re: powerpc: Missing Turbo mode
Question..
The powernv-cpufreq module is not automatically loaded by the kernel (even if put in the initramfs).
Would it be possible to have it built-in (rather than as a module) in
some time?
As discussed on Ubuntu's kernel-team mailing list, it fails gracefully on non-compatible hardware
(and even on compatible hardware with older, development firmware versions w/out that support, if that happens on your tests)
