[Bug 1320049] Re: [Dell Inspiron Mini 10] Kernel panic on boot with 3.2.0-63 proposed kernel
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.15 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.
If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

CID: 201010-6646 Dell Inspiron Mini 10
Steps:
1. Install 12.04.1 + update (3.2.0-61), boot to desktop
2. Enable -proposed, update (3.2.0-63.94), reboot
Expected result:
* This system should work with stock Ubuntu and 3.2.0-61 / 3.2.0-63 kernels
Actual result:
* This system works with 12.04.1 stock Ubuntu and its update (3.2.0-61)
* But after step 2, kernal panic occurred right after the Ubuntu splash screen, if you switched to console before this happen, you will see this just happened after the login prompt.
