Bug description:
  I am using an Andor EMCCD camera that is connected to the HP Compaq Elite PC (ubuntu 12.04) via a PCI controller card, and this works fine.
  But if I move the PCI card behind an Adnaco-S1 fiber extender I get the error below.

  I am also certain that it is not any of the cables, or the camera that
  is the problem.
