  [20216, Realtek ALC282, Mic, Internal] Recording is entirely noise

Bug description:
  When I record using Sound Recorder or arecord, the only recording I
  can hear is noise. It isn't background noise, just that the entire
  recording is noise. I tried all the debugging options online but I
  can't seem to fix this issue.
