- utopic has been intermittently failing to suspend for me.  It works after a fresh boot, and then mysteriously stops working. The following was returning  was returning ENOENT on the write syscall:

  [38993.841433] pci_pm_runtime_suspend(): e1000e_pm_runtime_suspend+0x0/0xc0 [e1000e] returns -16
  
  WORKAROUND: After executing the following, suspend works again:
  modprobe -r e1000e
