  Hibernate option disappeared and hibernation does not work any more

Bug description:
  I previously enabled hibernation following this SwapFAQ wiki: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SwapFaq#How_do_I_add_more_swap.3F
  It was working alright until the hibernate option suddenly decided to disappear. It's no longer in the menu in the top right corner or the options that show up when pressing the power button. sudo pm-hibernate also does not work now!
  This maybe a cause of some Ubuntu updates, but I am not sure.
