[Bug 1327828] [NEW] cannot change keyboard backlight brightness

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When pressing function key plus F3 or F4 the backlight on the keyboard
does not change.  This was working on a Ubuntu 13.10.  No longer works
in ubuntu 14.04.
