  Ubuntu 14.04 on Acer TravelMate P253: LCD screen brightness always at
  maximum level

Bug description:
  Hi,
  on my new Acer TravelMate P253 notebook, with ubuntu 14.04 desktop I can't modify LCD screen brghtness: by pressing the normal key combination for this function (Fn+Left / Fn+Right) the screen brightness applet correctly shows up on the screen, and its level correctly goes up and down when pressing the function keys, but nothing actually happens, and the screen alway stays at its maximum brightness.
