Bug description:
Wireless (Wifi and WiMax) work fine.
The computer is a Dell Latitude E6500.
Data:
1) The BIOS is up to date on this machine - I didn't have to do anything special.
2) Running Ubuntu desktop 12.10, 64 bit. (12.04, 64 bit also had this issue before the machine was upgraded).
