[Bug 1335795] Re: [Asus K55VM] It does not suspend after upgrading to 14.04

 

I tested this on mainline kernel 3.14.1

It seems to be working perfectly.

Now, I want to know that by when, if any, update to that version of kernel will be provided as stable official version? 
Because as far as I understand, using kernel like this is not safe enough, As I am not an Ubuntu Developer and I don't want to run into more major problems!

Bug description:
  I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 from 13.10
  After that my laptop does not suspend. 
  The laptop has NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 630M Graphic card, with nouveau. It seems to fails when suspending.
