[Bug 1239578] Re: No wireless support for Realtek RTL8192EE [10ec:818b]
@sochan: yes, I did make that change, it helped initially. But now I'm
experiencing the same message (though not the same cause).
I suspect the problem is between NetworkManager and wpa_supplicant, but
I'm trying a few things suggested by others who have had this problem:
1) disabling ipv6 in the grub boot line :
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet ipv6.disable=1"
2) disabling 11_n in the r8192ee module configuration: sudo echo
"options r8192ee 11n_disable=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/r1892ee.conf
