Re: [Bug 1339196] Re: keypad stops working

No it actually started with the prior kernel. I have since cleaned all
of the prior kernels from my system.

Title:
  keypad stops working

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
This started with a recent update.

  Using 3.13.0-30-generic Ubuntu 64 bit 14.04 LTS.
1: The keystrokes suddenly stop working e.g. when using LYX [latest version].

2: The text input stops and moves to the beginning of the previously
written line and overrights it [although hitting return will still
execute the full line] e.g. when using R [latest version].

The problem does not occur on my 32-bit system only the 64 bit.

  System characteristics:

  Gigabyte Ultra board
  Keyboard: logitech K330
  Mouse: Logitech M215
  Memory: 15.6 GiB
Processor: AMDA10-6800K APU with Radeon HD Graphics x4
Graphics: Gallium 04 on AMD RV670
  Disk: 980.1 GB

I've tried to fix it for a couple of weeks now but could not.

  Any ideas what is wrong.

  George Hart
