Title:
  14.04 update 3.13.0-27 generic, restarts. 3.11.0.22 works

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
    I just did an update from 13.04 to 13.10 to 14.04
  at the end of the 14.04 update now ubuntu 3.13.0-27 preforms a software reset  repeatedly. (software power on)
  I am able to run the recoverey mode from 3.13.0-27
  I am also able to run 3.11.0.22. generic. this comes up with an error Desktop manager not loaded.
