Re: [Bug 1343248] Missing required logs.
Unfortunately I am on a production machine and due to the server hanging
and becoming unresponsive, I had to reinstall ubuntu 12.10 server edition.
The problem does not appear in this 12.10
But then I found that this softlockup problem has been solved and the last
working kernel version that was reported to be working fine was 3.12.0-8
see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1269404
Now
http://www.spinics.net/lists/kernel/msg1716965.html
This is a patch that was believed to be solution to the problem. But in the
upstream kernels I do not see the patch applied.
So could this patch be applied upstream into 3.16 ?
Please let me know.
