[Bug 1361639] Re: `linux-generic-lts-trusty` is not described as a metapackage

Andrew - what description language would you suggest ? Something like,
"This meta package will always depend on the latest ..." ?

Title:
`linux-generic-lts-trusty` is not described as a metapackage

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

The `linux-generic-lts-trusty` package is not described as a
metapackage by `dpkg` or `apt-cache`, thus the output of `dpkg -l`
(which just describes both `linux-generic-lts-trusty` and `linux-
image-generic-lts-trusty` as containing kernel images) isn't great at
describing that they are not simply one and the same.

I'm running 12.04, trying to install the 14.04 HWE (linux-generic-lts-
  trusty v3.13.0.34.30).

I asked about this on ubuntu-users, and was asked to file a bug.

  Andrew
