Nicolas Devillers, this is not In Progress as defined in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status . Despite this, if you uninstall the
PPA, and remove your WORKAROUND, is this problem reproducible?

If so, the next step is to test the latest mainline kernel, which is now
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.17-rc2-utopic/ .
