Also I've switched my Desktop environment today to Gnome Failback to see
if the problem still occurs, so far, not yet.

Bug description:
Hello I have two issues I think are related. sometimes Firefox freeze
on one tab when I click on a Firefox/thunderbird link or sometimes
when I look a a youtube video, it is random. When it freeze I can
click on another tab and have the correct title for it but the conten
stay frozen on the same tab. Sometimes it does not freeze but the web
content shakes itself and stop shaking when I open a new tab. I have
tried safe mode : same issue. I have created a new profile : same
issue. Thanks
- I use Firefox 31
- I am on Ubuntu 14.04.01 32 bits
- I've tried making a new profile : no change
- i've tried to use safe mode : no change
- i have not tried to desactivate hardware acceleration so far
- I use the following video driver : nvidia 343.13 for an Nvidia GT740, I had the same issues with the previous GPU an Nvidia 8400 GS
- The problem was non existant before I upgrade from 12.4 to 14.04 early july 2014
- I've reported the issue to Mozilla but no solutions given works : https://support.mozilla.org/fr/questions/1014778?esab=a&s=&r=1&as=s even disabling the Firefow bookmarks toolbar
- I have not encountered this issue on Chromium but did randomly meet it on one or two Ubuntu apps like for example : the compiz configuration program
