[Bug 1363610] Re: Error: can't access /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:06:00.0/driver

dino99, regarding the nvidia failure, stating it's seen widely over forums is not terribly helpful if you want to see whatever the issue you are experiencing addressed. It would be best to file a new report on that via a terminal and put specific detail as to how it's failing (logs, crash, etc.):
ubuntu-bug xorg

Regarding nouveau having short freezes, and unresponsive mouse clicks,
this may have the same root cause. However, for now, let us treat them
separately, and scope this report to exactly short freezes.

Hence, could you please put in greater detail what you mean by short
freezes (ex. windows gray screen briefly)?

Also, could you please provide a screencast of your problem via
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Screencast ?

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Did a fresh Utopic i386 ext4 installation (from mini.iso) with the ubuntu-desktop and "nouveau" driver used.
Glancing at the logs, i've found that one into gpu-manager.log

   lspci | grep VGA
06:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107 [GeForce GTX 750] (rev a2)

Checking that path property from nautilus:
  ../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:06:00.0
  (owned by root:root)

Note: if you think that an other package is concerned, please switch to it.
  Note2: also reported against "ubuntu-drivers-common" lp:1363622
