  ELAN touchpad-pointing device not detected

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I'm a ubuntu release 14.04 user on Gigabyte U24F, my ELAN touchpad-
  pointing device is not detected as a device by the system,  I'm using
  external mouse to come over that issue. Hope this problem can be
  solved by the help of the suggested attachment files.
