On a server system, I have a r8169 compatible network device running.
After getting this kernel warning, communication is not possible
anymore.

We upraded that System from 12.04.4 to 14.04.1, since then this error
appear shortly after reboot. Disabling ASPM did not help (
pcie_aspm=off).
