This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest

report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the issue,
and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug.

Please follow the instructions on the wiki page[0]. The first step is to
email the appropriate mailing list. If no response is received, then a
bug may be opened on bugzilla.kernel.org.

Once this bug is reported upstream, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-

Title:
Acer Aspire One i386 cannot turn on from sleep mode with any button

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Acer Aspire One i386 cannot turn on from sleep mode with any button.

  Kubuntu 14.10

  1. I close the lid and it sleep immediately
  2. I open the lid and it does not turn on. It is powered off.
The power button is blinking. If I push it once or I hold it it does not
turn on. Also Fn+F4 does nothing. Total silence.

I have to remove the battery every time - if it has slept - to activate
  the laptop again.

Type of the Aspire One: A751h

Except this everything works and runs fast.
