Title:
[Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-E7AUM-DS2H] late resume failure
[non-free: nvidia]
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Up until about a month ago I was able to suspend and resume or
hibernate and resume just fine. This made me happy since it was the
first distribution of Ubuntu since I built this computer about 6 years
ago which could. Now I cannot even shutdown, unless I ctrl-alt-f1 out
of X and do control-alt-delete after. It happened after a dist-
upgrade, not sure if it was related to the kernel package or not.
ProblemType: KernelOops
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10
Package: linux-image-3.16.0-18-lowlatency 3.16.0-18.25
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.16.0-18.25-lowlatency 3.16.3
Uname: Linux 3.16.0-18-lowlatency x86_64
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have appeared to have completed normally.
