[Bug 1362648] Re: 10ec:8821 [Asus VC60] Kernel panic on driver rtl8821ae
Hi. Sorry for the delay. I just tested kernel 3.17.0-031700 (from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.17-utopic/) and
it does not crash anymore (actually the current trusty version also does not crash). However, and although ubuntu networkmanager does not indicate that the connection is lost, every few seconds the connection halts for about 1 to 2 seconds.
As such, should I am not sure what to say regarding the status of this
bug. Should it be closed as fixed (and new one opened) or keep this one
opened while the driver is not fully working?

I have tested with the daily image from 26/Aug, and it did not crash
as before, but the wireless doe not work properly. However, it
connects at the beginning, but after a while it disconnects and no
longer connects.
