[Bug 1379485] Re: On krillin only 1 sim connects to the bluetooth device meaning only that sim rings on both device and bt headset

Looking at the bluez code, this is actually the expected behaviour.
Currently bluez only supports one modem, as there's not really a good
way to support HSP with multiple modems (which modem should it use when
pressing the call button?).

Need to discuss this better internally and with the product management
to see if we indeed want to support such use case, and then better
understand how that can be done.

** Changed in: bluez (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed

** Tags added: rtm14

** Summary changed:

- On krillin only 1 sim connects to the bluetooth device meaning only that sim rings on both device and bt headset
+ bluez only manages one modem with HSP (not dual as we have on krillin)

Title:
bluez only manages one modem with HSP (not dual as we have on krillin)

Status in “bluez” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  STEPS:
  1. Have a device with 2 sim cards
  2. Connect to a bluetooth car/headset
(car is better it shows the network you are connected to)
  3. Call sim number one (rings on phone but not bt device)
  4. Call sim number two (rings on phone and bt device)

  EXPECTED:
In both situations you expect the call to trigger the ringer on both of the sims numbers

  ACTUAL:
For me only sim number 2 triggers the ringer on the device and the mobile.
