Yesterday (11 Oct, 2014 9:36 AM IST) my kubuntu was upgraded using muon package manager with following list of packages

After that on reboot, my WiFi starts - works for 10-15 minutes and then the computer hangs for a few sec and then WiFi module stops blinking and cannot detect my network at all. Restarting Wifi hardware switch doesn't help either. I have to reboot the system and the problem repeats.
My system has been working smoothly for many months so far.
I looked at syslog and found following
