[Bug 1380993] Re: Blank screen and system hung up when system suspend
This issue looks like the monitor state stays in blank (the monitor is on) after resuming from S3.
But, the 'xset dpms force on' can not recovery this state.
We need to do 'xset dpms force off' before 'xset dpms force on'.
We only found that the intel graphic register is different after this
issue happened.
The attached file is the tar.bz2 of the output of 'intel_reg_dumper'.
There are two files in the tar.bz2:
intel_reg.dump: we get this data after booting.
intel_reg.blank.dump: we get this data after this issue happened.
The intel_reg_snapshot causes the system hung.
So, we can not provide the output of the intel_reg_snapshot.

Bug description:
Blank screen and system hung up when system enter suspend with Ubuntu 14.04.
When this issue occurred,the LED of power button is on, Keyboard and Mouse not responded. Press power button once also no response. Need to press power button for long time to shot down the system then power on the system.
