By the way...

I wanted to apologize for the "curt, arrogant and condescending" part of
my post in #16 on this bug. I know those guys on the development lists
are busy and responding to many inquiries.

Still, I very much appreciate the cordial response from Bernie.

And, if anyone knows of a product that would allow Ubuntu/Linux to
reliably drive a couple of monitors off a USB 3.0 port please let me
know.
