Title:
  Kernel 3.5.0-21 breaks BCM43225 WIFI; 3.5.0-17 works

Status in “bcmwl” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Installed 12.10 on an HP Touchsmart TM2 with a fresh install from a
  USB key, AMD64 with wifi access, with installation updates permitted.
  This gave a fully working laptop on kernel 3.5.0-17. Running the post-
  installation software-update loaded 3.5.0-21 by default after reboot
  and the wifi hardware failed to be detected (Broadcom 43225).

  Rebooting back into 3.5.0-17 with no other changes and all worked
  perfectly again (bug report attachments were made with this version
  but running 'ubuntu-bug linux-image-3.5.0-21-generic').

  This is not my laptop, so I will not be able to test any other kernels
  after 5 Jan 2013.
