[Bug 1386802] Re: Synaptics touchpad is not detected on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS (64bit)

 

I tried running the 3.18 generic kernel but system did not want to boot.
It could not detect boot hard drive or something to that effect.

I have Kingston SSDNow V300 (SV300S37A/240G) hard drive.
