[Bug 1389043] Re: Copying to USB slows down whole system

 

Sorry Joseph but I do not want to test with the latest kernel. Too
dangerous for me.

Last week I tried that for another ticket and then I couldn't boot my
machine anymore. Took me hours to reinstall and reconfigure the whole
system.

  Copying to USB slows down whole system

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Each time I copy a movie to an USB stick, everything becomes slow.
  Mouse polling gets frozen. System becomes unstable until the copy
  process is complete.

  But the following dmesg output tells me something interesting:
