uniphirios, please file a report with Intel as you were already advised
to do. You are welcome to put the case number here for tracking.
However, unless there is an extreme circumstance, the linux community
wouldn't investigate coding a WORKAROUND to poorly written firmware, if
it's even technically possible -> Won't Fix.
