[Bug 883646] Re: "ERROR no room on ep ring" fills up syslog and hard disk in minutes
I'm running xubuntu 12.04, latest updates applied and recently upgraded to a Intel Z97 Board.
My dmesg gets spilled with
[ 459.594417] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: ERROR no room on ep ring
[ 459.594422] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: ERROR no room on ep ring
[ 459.594427] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: ERROR no room on ep ring
[ 459.594432] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: ERROR no room on ep ring
even that I have not attached any USB device to my USB 3.0 Ports:

I yet had no issues besides the annoying filling of my syslog, but next
work-week will show if that holds, or not.

the error message no longer shows up!
