  power spontaneously shuts down in graphic mode on toshiba laptop

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  approx 30 seconds after login in graphic mode in  8.04.1 power
  spontaneously shuts down

  same behavior happens in 7.10 but not in 7.04

  laptop is toshiba m35x-s149
