Title:
Screen freezes after lid closed / opening lid: Screen restored, mouse
moves but no reaction!
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I can not reproduce it certainly:
> 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
> 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
xorg:
Installiert: 1:7.6+4ubuntu3.1
Kandidat: 1:7.6+4ubuntu3.1

> 3) What you expected to happen
That when I open the lid the screen is restored and that I can continue to work with Ubuntu.
> 4) What happened instead
The screen has been restored, but I could only move the mouse. Nothing responded in the session (neither to the mouse nor keyboard). But I could restart xorg by CTR+ALT+BACKSPACE. Of course then my session was lost.
I assume it may be the same bug as #772925 !
