Title:
  Realtek RTL8111/8168B not supported

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In Ubuntu 12.04 LTS AMD64 the onboard gigabit network card "Ethernet
controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI Express
Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 06)" is not supported.

Installing the driver from the realtek website works (but then needs
to be reinstalled manually every time the kernel is updated...). If
including the driver is impossible due to whatever licensing issues,
could there at least be a way to install the propertiary driver trough
the "additional drivers" interface, so it's DKMSed in or whatever.
