[Bug 1393877] Re: linux-hwe-generic missing in Trusty

 

I think the meta package name algorithm needs to change as well. If we
re-create the linux-hwe-generic package in Trusty, then we've created an
upgrade path from Precise to Trusty for HWE kernels. Is that something
we want to do ?

Bug description:
  Precise contains a meta package (linux-hwe-generic) that allowed for
  automatic upgrades as HWE kernels expired. We need this same mechanism
  in Trusty.
