[Bug 1397887] Re: Apport asks to install 'bluez-hcidump' but this package does not exist

Pierre Equoy, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. As per https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez-hcidump the
package is not available in Utopic+. Hence, it would appear apport would
want to be adjusted for these releases to not include this request,
and/or provide some other suggestion.

** Package changed: bluez (Ubuntu) => apport (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: apport (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Low

** Changed in: apport (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Triaged

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel

  Apport asks to install 'bluez-hcidump' but this package does not exist

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:

  Your bug report will be processed in few seconds.
  If you can reproduce it, please follow the next steps:
      - Install the package 'bluez-hcidump'
      - Open a new terminal
      - Run the command "sudo hcidump -XYt > $HOME/hci.log"
      - Reproduce the actions until the error happens
      - On the terminal, press Ctrl+C to stop hcidump.
      - Attach the file hci.log to the bug report.

  So I try to install the 'bluez-hcidump' package, but...

  % sudo apt-get install bluez-hcidump
  Reading package lists... Done
  Building dependency tree
  Reading state information... Done
  Package bluez-hcidump is not available, but is referred to by another package.
  This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
  is only available from another source

  E: Package 'bluez-hcidump' has no installation candidate
