[Bug 1395811] Re: [X450JN] Touchpad not properly detected

 

Miguel Ribeiro, if you have tested this issue in the latest mainline
kernel (now 3.18-rc7) and it doesn't work, it's considered an upstream
issue eligible for reporting as previously advised.

  [X450JN] Touchpad not properly detected

Bug description:
  My laptop touchpad only works as left/right button and moving around.
  No other features (scrolling, ..) are working. I'm running Ubuntu
  12.04.5 and xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.6.2-1ubuntu1~precise2. In
  System Settings > Mouse and Touchpad there is no Touchpad tab.
