Title:
After suspend to ram and resume choppy video playback
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pm-utils
Video playing works greatly untill the laptop first time suspends to RAM. After resume everything seems ok, but playing video is slow, choppy, unusable. It concerns all kinds of high resolution videos, for example either with flash pluggins in FF or mplayer x264 1280x720. It does on multiple player softwares like totem, smplayer etc.
Also it is not compiz related, the same behaviour observed without effect on metacity.
I suspect a script for suspend to do something incorrect with video
system.
Release: 11.04

logs from mplayer,lshw,pm-suspend.log included
