Title:
  Problems with suspend and hibernation (HP Compaq  nw9440 mobile
  workstation)

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Cannot fully wake up from sleep and hibernate with 12.04. Strange
  patterns on the screen. The mouse pointer is lagging and is not
  responsible most of the time. It's hard to logoff-login to resolve the
  problem (restarting the desktop manager).
