Title:
suspend doesn't work on Presario r3210ca

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

When I try to return from suspend, some text comes up quickly and then
there is just a blank, back lit screen. The computer is still on, but
you have to shut off the computer and reboot it in order to do
anything. This essentially makes the suspend feature unusable.

The laptop's model is a Compaq Presario R3210CA running Ubuntu 7.10
and the output of uname -a is:

  "Linux sean-laptop 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT
  2007 i686 GNU/Linux"

Please find dmesg and lspci outputs attached below.
