segfault when trying to play a video after suspend

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete

Bug description:
after returning from suspend i try to play a video  (tried varoius players) 
and i get a crash:

the only way to reset is to do a full system boot

it shouldnt matter but i also use mateDM
