[Bug 1405230] Re: hang on closing pdf file saved from browser

Bug description:
to reproduce:
1- save pdf file generated from web broswer using 'save a copy' (ideally have firefox set to open automatically in document preview / evince)
1a- link to pdf from web https://parall.ax/products/jspdf
2- close then reopen that pdf or any other pdf
3- attempt to close -> evince will hang and then propt to wait or force quit after a few minutes
4- after rebooting system, same files will close properly but saving a
new one reintroduces bug
issue experienced currently on 14.10, but also on 14.04 and 13.10
