Is it safe to install the mainline kernel debs from there:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.19-rc2-vivid/ (as far
as they were built for vivid, not trusty) ?

  Lenovo Ideapad S 205 - webcam is not detected after installing 14.04
  (works well on 12.04)

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I've installed 14.04 along with 12.04 on other partition. My webcam is
  not detected if I perform 14.04 cold boot. And if I perform  12.04
  cold boot - the webcam works. And it continues working if I do warm
  reboot 12.04 to 14.04.

  WORKAROUND: Blacklist rts5139.
