[Bug 1406325] Re: [MacBook7, 1] suspend/resume failure

Thanks for the fast answer.

Pleas apologize, but I do not understand where I should get the upstream
kernel : from the Linus git repository
(http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git) or from
the Ubuntu kernel PPA (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/) ?

Title:
  [MacBook7,1] suspend/resume failure

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

Using Xubuntu 14.04, the MacBook7,1 can't resume after a suspend to RAM since laste kernel update (linux-image-3.13.0-39-generic). The screen does light a fraction of second, but remains off after that. It happened sometimes with kernel linux-image-3.13.0-40-generic, but with last kernel it happens on each resume.
I am using the nouveau free driver.

Thanks very much for your time and work,
  Yvan
