btw sometimes it does not crash.  i do not know the difference between
when it crashes and when it does not.  i can only say when it fails,
calling it repeatedly in sequence seems to keep yielding the same
failure, but at another time, it may work.

  bluez-simple-agent crashes, in utopic, on a fresh install and fresh
  boot.  same crash after updating packages and reboot:
