if anyone have problems with ch341 drivers on Ubuntu 14.04 I have a
patched driver and it works with 3.13.X kernel:

Bug description:
  The modprobe ch341 fails with the following error:
  [ 1186.582421] usbcore: deregistering interface driver ch341
  [ 1186.587506] usbserial: USB Serial deregistering driver ch341-uart
  [ 2260.948951] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for ch341-uart
  [ 2260.955430] ch341 1-1:1.0: ch341-uart converter detected
  [ 2261.960103] ch341: probe of 1-1:1.0 failed with error -5
  [ 2261.964376] usbcore: registered new interface driver ch341

  The output from lsusb is:
  Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
  Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1a86:7523  
  Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0e0f:0002  
  Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

  The cable worked fine with ubuntu 8.04 and the ch341-dkms as prescribed by:
  http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-921409.html

  I am running ubuntu 8.10 in vmware fusion. I also tried ubuntu 8.04
  with the ch341-dkms under vmware fusion, and it also appears to have
  the same problem.
