Hello,

First of all let me give my warmest thanks to all the people who has 
developed and made possible the freeware distribution of KICAD, thanks.

Well, I am using kicad-2007-02-16-WinXP release. My problem is that 
after selecting "ADD TRAKS AND VIAS" tool, I am only able to place 
tracks. How can I add vias (spots)?

Other problems I´ve found is that component layer does not appear in 
the drag down menu on the top toolbar, Is it a problem of the release 
i am using?
