Hallo,

is there possibility to include only library name(s) to schematic
file?
The problem is, that there is (for now) stored absolute path in file
so when I transfer schematic file from home (WindowsXP) to work
(Kubuntu), I get error messages about non existing libraries.

AFAIK, there is no such possibility within the graphical interface,
unfortunately. But I have successfully used relative paths by editing
the LibName? fields in the .pro file.

I know that this is a solution, but by mens of this you just solve result, not cause.

What I wanted to say is, that storing library path in every schematic file is not a good idea. You should instead put only library name into schematic file, but storing full path into it is non systematic. It is just because in Windows you have no path named /usr/share and in Linux there is no c:\Program Files\ (and I do not speak about different language version of Windows).

IMO it is necessary to put this path into KiCad global options, not in schematic.

Uff ;-)
