Hello Chris!
My name is Chris and I'd like to join the Kicad
development community. I'm probably considered a
beginner programmer and my current interest is in
working on eeschema.
Because of the release coming up, would it be best to
wait before editing the code and posting a diff to the group?
If you write something useful, then please publish patch in the
"kicad-devel" Yahoo group.
Somebody from KiCad developers can take a look at you
enhancements and apply you patch to the KiCad SVN tree.
After successful patch review, you will be accepted to the KiCad team
and I will grant to you write access to the KiCad SVN tree.
But, please, do not send very big patches.
We need something small for review.
P.S. Standart note:
If you want the write access in SVN or possibility to release binaries,
or another connected with the help to KiCad project, then you must
carefully read the chapter
"You can help with the project!" at
http://kicad.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Download
and make all recommended things.
